Bill has completed many projects for us over the years- since 1986 – built a gorgeous sun room addition to our home, completed interior remodeling, installed all new Anderson windows, added decks and built a garage along with a second floor for my workshop. The year unanimously voted “Worst of All Time By a Long Shot” by pretty much the whole world? In late December, 2020, Bill Enslin and his multitalented crew completed work on our early ‘60s era kitchen which, for those of you who remember that era, was starting to look like Keith Richards on his worst day. That project, in contrast to just about everything else that went down in that seemingly endless year, finished up looking absolutely stunning, just flawless, floor to ceiling—cabinets, counters, backsplash, painting, lighting…the works. Everyone we had the pleasure of meeting from Bill on down through his work crew proved to be timely, funny, conversational, careful, and competent in the extreme. All communication back and forth between us and Bill was clear and quick. Prices were entirely reasonable. Bill even showed up cheerful and ready to go on Monday mornings after the Eagles lost. Which was often. Can’t wait to get him going on our next project.
I have been using Bill Enslin for various projects for the last 20 years. My only regret is that I didn’t use him to build my house because had I, I wouldn’t be needing to call him now to fix many of the things that were not done right in the first place. Bill is simply a perfectionist in everything he does. He gutted my old master bath and built my wife and I a beautiful new bathroom and walk in closet with a separate cedar closet- perfect. Bill repaired a patio door that would never close properly – perfect. Bill rebuilt many of my windows, replacing all of the exterior wood – again perfect and better than new. The guy is a master at what he does. My wife loves him because he leaves the job site cleaner than he found it, every day he is there, not just when he is done. But what I like most about Bill is that he is honest. He is the kind of person who treats his clients like he would like to be treated which is fair and honest. If it’s a simple fix, he’ll tell you, not try and take advantage of the opportunity. If you’re looking to do something that he feels is a mistake, he will tell you. If it’s something that he doesn’t do, he’ll tell you and in many cases recommend someone. You can’t go wrong with Bill Enslin.

Bill Enslin & Enslin Builders has worked on our 150- year-old house for over 20 years. He has replaced over 20 windows, gutted and restored two rooms, replaced the siding on a large portion of the house, framed out a tool shed, framed and repaired doors, etc., etc. You name it and he has done it from big to small jobs. He is always timely, professional, knowledgeable and personable.
When I bought my house, the old deck was falling apart. I feel very fortunate that, at that time, someone recommended I call Bill to help with the deck. I told him my nephew was a pro football player so the deck had to be strong enough for an over 300 pound guy. Bill built a beautiful deck out of Trex and vinyl railing. I even had my plumber tell me he’s never seen such a strong deck and I get compliments on how nice it is all the time! Since then, Bill has replaced all the windows in my house, put all new siding on, and added two windows into a concrete wall in my basement. It’s good to know I can always depend on Bill to keep my house in top shape, with the bigger jobs but also with the little stuff. In fact, he’s the only one who’s ever worked on my house. I like him and his work that much! Here’s what you can expect from Bill: when you place a call to him once, you know he will contact you; he’s prompt and shows up when he says he will; he’s courteous, very pleasant and he quickly understands what you want done. Hello, Bill! Just wanted to say thank you for all your help for all these years! I believe you came out to give us an estimate on a front door replacement in 1996. After examining the cheap door the builder put in, you gave us an estimate to replace it. It was a little more money than the other estimates we had received, but we liked your solution the best. However, we waited until my Dad came over to try to fix it, but, despite our best efforts, we only succeeded in making it worse. A day or two after that, I came home in the rain and found the door stuck and hit it so hard to open it that it bent the door. We called Bill Enslin the next day. Bill arrived on time and fixed the door with a new high quality one that was beautiful and easy to open. We were in that house for five years and when we left it, the front door closed just a easy and true as the day Bill left it. Since then, we have asked for Bill to do a myriad of tasks at our new home, customer’s homes, mother-in-law’s home, and countless others. We never have a concern or complaint. Customers always compliment us for recommending him and thank us many times over. Bill has just completed a very large project at my Dad’s house in Pottstown, and all the contractors he uses are; on time, neat, and perfectly done. This will mark over twelve years of excellent quality work he has done for my family and friends. I will use Bill Enslin again and again in the future.
